It’s an exciting time to work for Etihad as we transform the aviation industry through creativity, innovation and sustainability, pushing the boundaries to create a world of thoughtful choices for our guests on every journey.ResponsibilitiesEnsure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and keep oneself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices, and general/technical information.Ensure maximum attention is given to on‑time performance by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation are prepared in advance for each task.Inform and consult with the Engineer as required to maintain a complete overview of the aircraft.Maintain a FOD‑free working area and clean up the bay area before and after work.Develop oneself and increase aircraft knowledge with the ultimate goal of further career development.Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution.Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters.Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the company’s ethos.Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective.Education & ExperienceMust have served an apprenticeship with an airline/approved organization, or have received an equivalent formal training.Minimum of 3‑5+ years full‑time hands‑on experience within a Line/Light/Base Maintenance Environment working on commercial aircrafts — Airbus/Boeing.Must have experience working in an Airline Hub or MRO/Base Maintenance environment.Able to perform tasks with a high level of quality and safety.Good communication skills and fluency in English.Team player and able to work in a multi‑cultural environment.About Etihad AirwaysEtihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, was formed in 2003 and quickly went on to become one of the world’s leading airlines.
