The aircraftstructural applications will be the focus of knowledge for fatigue indexanalysis, structural integrity inspections, structural modifications andupdates, and engineering analysis of aircraft platforms.Able to develop andintegrate concepts that involve requirements, design, prototyping, production,testing, training and logistics support in all phases of the weapon system lifecycle, including all aspects of technical program that involve trade-off of performance,lifecycle cost,risk, producibility, supportability, testability and other engineeringrequiremen ts.Possess knowledgeof engineering principles used in stress analysis.Knowledge of 3Dcomputer modeling and other analytical substantiation techniques.RequirementsStructuralEngineering or related discipline. Mechanical/ Aeronautical engineering background.Master's Degree orhigher and Chartered Engineer status is desirable.A minimum of 10years of experience in aircraft structural design engineering.Excellentknowledge of standard aircraft components, materials, composites, metals,fabrication practices, aviation hardware, integration and proper applicationsin design with a thorough understanding of the use and application of aircrafttechnical data.Possess knowledgeof engineering principles used in stress analysis, 30 computer modelling andother analytical substantiation techniques.
