Air Freight Operations Specialist

Purpose of the JobRealize the transportation of goods from one point to the next as part of the provision of services, in compliance with procedures guaranteeing the quality of the service.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, record, and validate customer order in the TMS taking into consideration our offer (quotation, SOP)Realize the execution plan (routing) according to Customer Operation Support (COS) instructionsCollect and control all required documents (commercial invoice, packing list, etc.)Check the availability of cargo and provide confirmation that shipping can ProceedPerform the transportation plan (booking with Middle Office solutions)Input up-to-date information regarding the shipment in the TMSProduce documentation according to customer profile (transport documents)Manage communication and processing of documentation with suppliers (internal + external)Create and update events in the TMSMonitor and improve supplier’s performance (with MO solutions)Coordinate with COS in case of deviationValidate that all documentation is complete and compliant versus the requirements and upload in the TMSComplete internal invoicing/cost postingsProduce and dispatch external invoices and documents to customersPrepare operational reports and provide feedback to the managerBe responsible for the effective operational execution our commitments (qualitative pre assessment)Required Work Experience / Qualifications3 to 4 years’ experience working in Logistics & Warehouse management in the freight-forwarding industry.Knowledge of import/export laws and regulations and custom clearance compliance (specifically, UAE Customs requirements)Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or relevant field.As a global organization, and as part of the CMA CGM Group, diversity is critical to our business success; only when we can reflect the cultures, languages, behaviors and local knowledge of our customers, we can succeed.
