The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Python machine learning and data analytics combined with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with customers to solve complex business challenges. The individual is also responsible for owning AI/ML business outcomes and implementation strategy while supporting Digital Enterprise Business Unit / Solution Division in developing a differentiation in a high-growth competitive environment in Yokogawa Middle East & Africa region.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Implement AI/ML solutions using Python and perform data analysis in collaboration with CoE solution architects with Oil & Gas domain expertise.Conduct technical analysis leveraging AI/ML technologies and Data Science skills including gathering requirements performing gap analysis and identifying opportunities to apply AI/ML to solve customer challenges.Provide guidance on suitable AI/ML and data analytics solutions and support business portfolio management solution design and demonstrations.Ensure client expectations are clearly understood and met through the application of AI/ML and Data Science solutions.Manage the timely and high-quality completion of assigned deliverables.Ensure adherence to AI/ML and Data Science best practices and methodologies throughout project execution.Offer expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical effort required for implementing complex AI solutions.Qualification and Experience:Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on AI/ML/Data Science plus a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in AI-based software development or related engineering disciplines.Willingness and ability to travel across the Yokogawa Middle East & Africa region.Skills Strong communication skills collaborative mindset and ability to energize and work effectively within a team.Proficiency in Python programming with demonstrated experience in implementing AI/ML solutions.Solid understanding of machine learning concepts (e.g. Supervised Unsupervised Learning Reinforcement Learning Large Language Models) and hands-on experience applying algorithms such as Linear Regression K-Means Support Vector Machines XGBoost etc in Python.Comprehensive knowledge of Data Science including statistical analysis machine learning and data visualization techniques.Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms (e.g. Azure ML Studio AWS SageMaker) is a plus.Familiarity with Oil & Gas Petrochemicals or specialized chemical domains is an advantage.Yokogawa is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
