Job Description

Job Description As a ML/AI Engineer II-2 at Mastercard, you will be a part of the Business & Market Insights (B&MI) group, focusing on empowering organizations to achieve growth & innovation goals through unparalleled data-driven insights and advanced analytics. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the design and development of AI and analytics solutions covering classical machine learning, time-series forecasting, statistical modeling, deep learning, and emerging agent-based architectures. - Developing predictive and prescriptive models using various supervised, unsupervised, and probabilistic approaches. - Building and optimizing time-series forecasting frameworks for financial and operational use cases. - Integrating Generative AI and multi-agent systems with traditional ML and statistical methods for intelligent decision support. - Performing exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and hypothesis-driven insights to guide business-critical decisions. - Creating reusable model components, frameworks, and evaluation workflows ensuring model governance and responsible AI practices. - Collaborating with business stakeholders, product teams, and data engineering partners to translate domain challenges into measurable analytical solutions. Qualifications required for this role include: - Masters/bachelors degree in computer science or engineering with considerable work experience in building complex projects/products. - Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying both conventional AI/ML solutions and LLM/Agentic solutions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with expertise in advanced statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms. In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will be expected to adhere to Mastercard's Corporate Security Responsibility by following security policies, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of information, reporting any suspected security violations, and completing mandatory security trainings.
