Agronomist

Contract Agronomist for Farm in Abu-Dhabi, UAEWe are seeking a contract Agronomist to work on a farm in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the farm's crops and ensuring their optimal growth and production. This is a contract position with accommodation provided.Responsibilities:- Conduct soil analysis and develop fertilization plans- Monitor crop health and identify any potential issues- Implement pest control measures as needed- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of crops- Create and maintain records of crop yields and production data- Work closely with farm management to develop crop rotation plans- Train and supervise farm workers on proper farming techniques and safety proceduresRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field- Prior experience working on a farm or in a similar role preferred but not required- Knowledge of crop fertilization, irrigation, and pest control methods- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on crop analysis- Excellent communication skills to effectively train and supervise staff- Willingness to work long hours during peak farming seasonsSalary:This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month.Nationalities:This job is open to Pakistani and Malayalee candidates.Language Requirement:English language proficiency is not required for this job.Location:The farm is located in Abu-Dhabi, UAE.Accommodation:Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.This job has no reviews yet.
