OverviewPart-Time Agronomist in Abu Dhabi, UAEWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Agronomist to join our team in Abu Dhabi on a part-time basis. As an agronomist, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance in the cultivation and management of crops, with a focus on sustainable practices.ResponsibilitiesConduct research and analysis to identify the best practices for crop cultivation in the local climate and soil conditionsDevelop and implement effective crop management strategies, including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting techniquesMonitor crop health and growth to ensure maximum yield and qualityProvide guidance to farmers on proper land preparation, planting methods, and crop maintenanceCollaborate with other agricultural experts to stay updated on industry trends and advancementsMaintain accurate records of crop production dataRequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience as an agronomistBachelor's degree in Agronomy or related fieldStrong understanding of agricultural principles, techniques, and technologiesProven ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findingsExcellent communication skills to effectively convey information to farmers from diverse backgroundsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPreference will be given to candidates who are African nationals or have experience working in African countriesThis is a part-time position without accommodation provided.
