Agronomist

Agricultural Research TechnicianAs an Agricultural Research Technician, you will be responsible for conducting research and experiments related to crop production and management. This role requires a strong background in agronomy, as well as the ability to conduct field work and analyze data. You will work closely with the agronomist team to develop new techniques and technologies to improve crop yields and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and experiments related to crop production and management.- Collect and analyze data from field trials, greenhouses, and laboratories.- Collaborate with the agronomist team to develop new techniques and technologies.- Monitor plant growth, health, and pest infestations.- Assist with soil sampling and analysis.- Operate agricultural equipment such as tractors, sprayers, and harvesters.- Maintain accurate records of all research activities.- Participate in meetings and present findings to colleagues.- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in agronomy.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field.- 2+ years of experience in agricultural research or a similar role.- Strong knowledge of crop production techniques, plant biology, soil science, and pest management.- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.Working Conditions:This is a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi. You will be required to work Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work during busy seasons.
