Job Description As an experienced candidate for the role, you will be responsible for driving various initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and overall performance within the manufacturing plants. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving Lean Manufacturing & Kaizen Initiatives:
- Leading the deployment of Lean tools, techniques, and Kaizen methodology across all 10 plants.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement across operations and production teams.
- Championing 5S, Safety & Health Programs:
- Implementing and monitoring 5S workplace organization practices.
- Ensuring safety, health, and environment (SHE) standards are consistently upheld.
- Leading Cost Optimization & Waste Elimination Projects:
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities by standardizing processes and reducing inefficiencies.
- Driving structured problem-solving for non-value-adding activities across the shopfloor.
- Enhancing Productivity & Operational Innovation:
- Encouraging the adoption of new technologies, automation, and digital tools for productivity uplift.
- Facilitating idea generation, innovation challenges, and best practice sharing.
- Ensuring Quality Excellence:
- Aligning quality initiatives with global standards such as ISO, TQM, and EFQM.
- Building systems that promote a zero-defect culture and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating Cross-Functional Engagements:
- Facilitating Gemba Walks, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Fostering collaboration between operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
- Monitoring Performance & Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Supporting the design and rollout of Balanced Scorecards and Performance Dashboards.
- Leveraging data analytics for tracking KPIs and driving result-oriented actions.
- Capability Development:
- Engaging with external consultants and training partners to uplift plant-level capabilities.
- Conducting workshops and learning sessions to build internal excellence champions.
Your skills in Industrial Engineering, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Iso, and Lean Manufacturing will be crucial for success in this role. With 15-20 years of experience, you are well-equipped to drive these initiatives and lead the transformation towards operational excellence.
