Job SummarySynechron is seeking an experienced Agile Coach with expertise in the telecom industry to lead and support our organization’s agile transformation initiatives. The role involves guiding teams and stakeholders in adopting and practicing agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and embedding agility into business operations. The successful candidate will enable teams to deliver value more effectively while aligning agile practices with organizational goals, thereby supporting improved efficiency, collaboration, and innovation.Software RequirementsRequired: JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred: Confluence, Miro, Collaboration tools (MS Teams/Zoom)Experience Level: Proficient to advanced in project management and collaboration tools, with the ability to tailor tools to team needsOverall ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the organization’s adoption of agile principles and practices across teams and departmentsCoach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and LeanConduct workshops, training sessions, and one‑on‑one coaching to enhance agile maturity and skillsAssess team performance and provide actionable feedback to improve agility and delivery outcomesCollaborate with stakeholders to align agile processes with organizational objectives and business prioritiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks andimplementing process optimizationsFacilitate agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and planning sessions to foster collaboration and transparencyMeasure and report on agile adoption success and team performance progress to leadershipTechnical Skills (By Category)Frameworks and Practices: Scrum, Kanban, Lean (Essential), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), LeSS (Preferred)Tools: JIRA, Trello, Confluence, Miro (Preferred)Development Processes: Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps principles (Preferred)Industry Standards: Understanding of telecom industry standards and practices relating to IT and software delivery (Preferred)Programming Languages, Databases, Cloud Technologies: Not typically required for this roleExperience RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach or in a similar agile facilitation/mentoring roleHands‑on experience in coaching organizations within the telecom sector or related industriesProven track record in leading enterprise‑wide agile transformations and improvementsExperience working with cross‑functional and distributed teams, utilizing tools like JIRA and TrelloDemonstrated ability to influence culture change and improve team performance through agile practicesDay‑to‑Day ActivitiesConduct agile assessments and maturity evaluations across teams and functionsFacilitate workshops, training sessions, and coaching engagements to build agile expertiseSupport teams in adopting agile ceremonies, artifacts, and workflowsProvide ongoing mentoring to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team membersTrack and report on agile adoption metrics, team improvement, and transformation progressCollaborate with management to identify barriers and implement solutions for agile process adoptionAct as a change agent to foster a mindset of continuous improvement and adaptability within teamsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)Certified Scrum Master (CSM), ICAgile Certified Professional – Agile Coaching (ICP‑ACC), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or similar certifications preferredCommitment to ongoing professional development in agile practices and industry trendsProfessional CompetenciesStrong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities to address challenges in transformation initiativesProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams and stakeholdersExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to technical and non‑technical audiencesAbility to tailor coaching approaches based on team maturity levels and organizational cultureAdaptability to evolving organizational contexts and technological landscapesFocus on outcomes, fostering collaborative environments for continuous learning and improvementStrong organizational skills to manage multiple coaching engagements and initiatives effectivelySynechron’s Diversity & Inclusion StatementDiversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
