The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) and Tradex, with a strong technical foundation in SQL Server, ETL integrations, and reporting solutions.This role involves supporting, enhancing, and integrating Advent systems within a complex investment environment, ensuring stability, performance, and seamless data connectivity across platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvent APX & Tradex Administration:Install, configure, and maintain Advent APX and Tradex applications.Perform upgrades, patches, and technical enhancements.Manage user access, system performance, and application tuning.Technical Support & Issue ResolutionProvide day-to-day production support for Advent APX and Tradex systems.Troubleshoot and resolve system or data-related issues.Collaborate with Advent support and internal IT teams for escalations.Database ManagementUtilize Microsoft SQL Server for data extraction, validation, and optimization.Perform query tuning, indexing, and performance monitoring.Manage database jobs and data reconciliation processes.Reporting & Data AnalysisDevelop and maintain reports using SSRS.Create complex T-SQL queries for reporting and data validation.Support users with custom and ad-hoc reporting needs.Integration & AutomationDesign and maintain data integration pipelines using SSIS or custom scripts (.NET, PowerShell).Implement and support FIX/API integrations with external systems such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and EMSX.Ensure data consistency and automation across trading, accounting, and reporting platforms.Documentation & GovernanceMaintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit, and security controls.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of proven hands-on experience with Advent APX and Tradex (installation, administration, support, enhancement).Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL scripting, indexing, and performance tuning.Experience developing and maintaining reports in SSRS.Working experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, or custom automation using .NET or PowerShell.Familiarity with FIX protocol and API integrations (Bloomberg, Reuters, EMSX).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with investment operations, IT, and vendor teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience in the investment or asset management domain.Knowledge of Advent system architecture and data models.Exposure to Azure / cloud environments for hosting or integration.About the companyJari SolutionsBe vigilant about potential scams, phishing attempts, or fraudulent activities, and seek credible sources or reviews to assess the trustworthiness of the company.
