<div><p>As a part of our global Field Service team, the Advanced Field Service Engineer provides field and factory support to our customers and channel partners and communicates with internal departments, necessary for the continuous improvement of Sundyne pump and compressor products and processes. The field service engineer will become technically familiar with all Sundyne products and work closely with job site personnel providing technical expertise and supervision over the installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment with a heavy emphasis on controls and instrumentation.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Travel to customer sites and manage activities related to the installation, precommission, and commissioning of Sundyne equipment (API machines and non-API machines).</li><li>Provide customers with detailed intervention reports after each visit, and provide our technical departments with feedback on our continuous improvement process.</li><li>Technical expertise in complex failure modes on rotating equipment for either mechanical, electrical or process related failure modes.</li><li>Provide excellent support and service to customers and channel partners to guarantee their satisfaction.</li><li>Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, including assembly and disassembly as per our procedures, to ensure correct operation and reliability of all Sundyne installations.</li><li>Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) with internal and external customers.</li><li>Provide technical training to our customers and channel partners at Customer’s facility or in our factories, including the realization of training supports.</li><li>Lead technical and follow-up meetings with customers and our technical departments.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><b>Successful Candidate:</b></p><ul><li>Experience with rotating and mechanical equipment required.</li><li>Experience in oil and gas industry would be appreciated.</li><li>Knowledge in vibration analysis.</li><li>Knowledge of process control equipment and reading P&ID drawings.</li><li>Experience with cause and effect diagrams, API seal plans, mechanical prints and GD&T.</li><li>Previous experience with international travel and field service trips (5 years expected).</li><li>Excellent communication with good interpersonal skills.</li><li>Self-directed with the ability to work independently.</li><li>Ability to work in challenging situations.</li><li>Have a passion to learn new skills and enjoy problem solving.</li><li>Strong ability to adapt to customer sites to manage customer expectations and availability of resources on site.</li><li>Technical writing skills to properly perform reports and RCFA.</li><li>High level of availability is excepted.</li><li>Fluent in English (comprehension, reading, writing).</li></ul><p><b>Desired Credentials</b></p><ul><li>Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with 5 years field experience.</li><li>Will be capable of working both independently as well as in a team environment.</li><li>Will have strong attention to detail, and a high degree of focus on customer satisfaction.</li><li>Will have strong personal organization and time management skills.</li><li>Flexibility to work multiple projects at varying stages of completion and multitask.</li><li>Basic knowledge with PLC and control logic.</li></ul><h3>Job Characteristics</h3><ul><li>Position located in Abu Dhabi, in total remote.</li><li>Domestic and international travel up to or more than 150 days per year is required of this position (mainly Middle East, Africa, Asia).</li><li>Integration period will take place in our French factory.</li></ul><p><b>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
