About the job Adult Trauma and Acute Care SurgeryAs an Adult Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Consultant , you would play a pivotal role in demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality surgical care for adult patients in acute and critical conditions, Provide comprehensive surgical care to adult patients with traumatic injuries and acute surgical conditions, Participate in the management of patients in the trauma and acute care surgery services, Engage in teaching and training activities for medical residents and fellowsMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides high-quality Surgery care to patients in this area of medicine.Provide consultative service as requested.Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.Performs special procedures as privileged.Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducationGraduate from a medical school of good standing.Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or SubspecialtyAmerican /European Board Certification or equivalent.Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as requiredDataflow is a must.Professional ExperienceMin. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in specialty.Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.#J-18808-Ljbffr
