ADJUNCT SCIENTIST

<div><h3>Summary</h3><p>Collaborates with Department/Section head and clinical research staff on clinical and research programs/projects.</p><h3>Essential Responsibilities and Duties</h3><ol><li>Advises on scientific and clinical approach and resources for programs/projects in the department.</li><li>Supports clinical research and technical staff assigned to programs/projects.</li><li>Participates in development of research proposals and projects.</li><li>Participates in communication of clinical/scientific results of programs/projects in publications and presentation.</li><li>Participates in preparation and review of manuscripts and research proposals.</li><li>Practices Good Research Practice (GRP) guidelines.</li><li>Facilitates training and education within the unit.</li><li>Participates in Department/Unit specific and Hospital wide quality improvement plan preferred.</li><li>Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.</li><li>Participates in self and other’s education, training and development, as applicable.</li></ol><h3>Education</h3><p>Doctorate Degree (PhD, MD, DDS, or DVM) or equivalent degree in scientific discipline relevant to the research field is required.</p><h3>Experience Required</h3><p>Six (6) years of directly related experience post-doctoral degree required.</p><h3>Other Requirements (Certificates)</h3><p>Scientific productivity must be measured in the form of publications in reputable scientific journals.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
