Title: Adjunct Lecturer for Systems Analysis and Design (IT)College/School: Information TechnologyReports to: The Dean & Discipline LeadOverview and Objectives of the PositionLecturers at Murdoch University Dubai are responsible for delivering high quality education to a diverse cohort of students. Responsibilities will include delivery of lectures and labs to UG and diploma students, marking of assignments and supporting students in their work.This unit plays a critical role in developing postgraduate students’ ability to analyse, model, design and manage information systems that support organisational and business needs.We are seeking high‑calibre professionals with a strong blend of academic expertise and industry practice in systems analysis, software design, and business systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivering lectures, tutorials and learning activities aligned with Murdoch University standardsTeaching systems analysis and design concepts across the full system development life cycleFacilitating student learning in areas such as requirements analysis, UML modelling, system architecture and software designAssessing student performance and providing academic feedbackEnsuring academic integrity, quality and consistency in all learning materials and assessmentsSelection CriteriaEssential QualificationsA Master’s degree (AQF Level 9) in an Information Technology–related discipline, including Systems Analysis and DesignTeaching ExperiencePrevious experience teaching Systems Analysis and Design or closely related units at tertiary levelIndustry ExperienceProfessional experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Software Analyst, IT Consultant or equivalentKnowledge, Skills & AttributesSystems analysis and requirements investigationUse cases and domain modellingUML modelling (use case, activity, class, sequence and architectural diagrams)System and software designObject-oriented designSystem testing, deployment and documentationProject planning and project managementUnderstand how information systems support organisational needsApply the systems development life cycleAnalyse and model business problems using UMLDesign system architectures, applications and databasesApply professional, ethical and project management practices in systems development#J-18808-Ljbffr
