Adjunct Faculty - Business

OverviewPosition Summary: To provide effective instruction in specific course(s) in the assigned General Business subjects and in at least two or more specific areas of the assigned program/discipline to the second language learners within a student-centric learning environment to foster respect for students, their culture, and their traditions. To actively participate in academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.Adjunct Faculty are temporary teaching staff employed within the college to enhance student learning, and who bring with them a wide array of practical knowledge and varied experience. Reporting to the Program Coordinator of a Division, Adjunct Faculty provide effective instruction in undergraduate courses in respective discipline, covering regular program courses including capstone projects, work experience, and senior-level specialized courses. Involvement in applied research and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community and outreach activities are welcomed.Adjunct Faculty teaching load are assigned on as per need basis and may not exceed Nine (9) credits per semester. The workdays in a week are normally Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The hours of work for academic employees are based on the teaching schedule.#J-18808-Ljbffr
