Job Description: Accounts Manager (On-site)Department: FinanceReports To: Directly to Operations Manager With dotted line to COO / ChairmanLocation: Saudi Arabia – RiyadhRole PurposeThe Accounts Manager will lead the day-to-day accounting operations of Al Manaar and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.The role is structured as a high-potential leadership track, where the candidate will progressively assume broader financial responsibilities with a clear pathway toward Financial Manager position based on performance and organizational needs.Key Responsibilities1. Core Accounting OperationsOversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliationsEnsure monthly, quarterly, and annual closing timelyMaintain accuracy of financial records across entitiesSupervise accounting staff and workflowsDirect interactions with accounting team within subsidiaries as needed.2. Financial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)Support consolidation across Al Manaar subsidiariesAnalyze variances vs budget and prior periodsProvide actionable insights to management3.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements in Saudi ArabiaCoordinate with auditors (internal & external)Maintain strong internal controls and financial policiesSupport board-level reporting requirements4. Cash Flow & Working Capital ManagementMonitor cash flow positions and liquidity across entitiesTrack receivables, payables, and inventory impact on working capitalSupport forecasting accuracy and variance tracking5. Systems & Process ImprovementImprove accounting systems, reporting tools, and automationStandardize financial processes across subsidiariesSupport implementation of ERP or reporting dashboards6. Strategic & Leadership Exposure (Development Track)Support budgeting and financial planning cyclesParticipate in investment evaluations and business casesAssist in banking relationships and financing structuresGradually take ownership of finance-related decision supportFuture Role Progression (Indicative)Subject to performance and business needs, the role may evolve into Financial Manager with full ownership of finance function, strategic planning, banking relationships, and board-level leadership.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field8 –12 years of relevant experienceExperience in multi-entity or group structure preferredStrong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standardsExperience in Saudi Arabia (preferred)Certifications (Preferred)CPA / ACCA / CMA or equivalentAdditional certifications are a plusKey CompetenciesStrong analytical and financial modeling skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyLeadership potential and team management capabilityStrong communication skills (English required, Arabic preferred)Ability to operate in a board-facing, high-accountability environmentKnowledge and experience with ERP systems.Success Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy and timeliness of financial reportingImprovement in cash flow visibility and forecast accuracyAudit findings and compliance qualityProcess efficiency improvementsReadiness for expanded financial leadership roleOther requirementsTransferable Iqama#J-18808-Ljbffr
