ACCOUNTING & FINANCE MANAGER

OverviewReporting to: CFOManage, control and ensure that company accounting activities and procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles and comply with the approved policies and procedures of the company. Lead and coordinate all tasks and functions related to financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and debt financing. Fulfill in a timely manner all financial obligations and requirements with third parties, i.e. external audit, Zakat, lenders, SIDF and others.ResponsibilitiesManage, control and ensure that company accounting activities and procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.Ensure that all financial transactions are handled and processed in line with the approved policies and procedures.Oversee the daily operations of the finance department.Prepare the monthly financial reports with all needed financial and costing analysis, comparing with Budget and KPIs.Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts in coordination with the CFO.Ensure that the company continuously maintains sufficient funds to fulfill its financial obligations by preparing monthly cash flow forecasts; monitor actual cash flow against forecast and take necessary measures to remedy variances.Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies; monitor terms, conditions and covenants and ensure compliance with them.Prepare financial analyses for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.Lead and coordinate with all other departments the preparation of the annual operating budget and the development of 3-10 year business plans for the company.Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.Essential requirementsDegree in AccountingA minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior level Finance or Accounting positionA CPA or CMA professional qualification preferredCandidates with experience in privately owned (non-government) industrial or energy companies preferredSaudi nationals onlyKnowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesGeneral knowledge of ERP Systems and the relation of other modules with accounting and finance modules and the associated controlsKnowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systemsKnowledge of Government financial regulationsKYE SKILLSAbility to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projectionsGood knowledge in cost accounting and financial analysisGeneral knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, e.g. product cost, inventory, standard cost, variance analysis between actual and standard costWorking knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysisProfessional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to multitask, work long hours and under pressure to meet deadlinesAbility to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes while managing multiple projectsAbility to participate in and facilitate group meetingsAbout The CompanyFirst Resort Global Recruitment delivers tailor made recruitment solutions to selected companies around the world.First Resort Global Recruitment combines Arabic and Western Recruiters and Business experts from around the world.
