Accounting Director

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all accounting functions including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll tax and financial reporting.Prepare accurate and timely monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.Develop and implement accounting policies procedures and internal controls to ensure data integrity and financial compliance.Coordinate internal and external audits ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Collaborate with the CFO to support budgeting forecasting and strategic planning efforts.Ensure compliance with local state federal and international tax regulations.Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements as needed.Manage and mentor a team of accountants fostering professional development and performance.Oversee financial systems upgrades or implementations.Liaise with external partners such as auditors banks and tax consultants.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Masters degree preferred).CPA CMA or equivalent professional certification required.Minimum 810 years of progressive experience in accounting including 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of GAAP IFRS tax laws and financial regulations.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.Excellent analytical leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.Preferred SkillsExperience in accounting (e.g. healthcare manufacturing tech).Knowledge of international financial operations and consolidation.Familiarity with SOX compliance (if applicable).#J-18808-Ljbffr
