Accounting Analyst

Key Responsibilities: Analyze financial data and provide insights on business performance. Assist in the preparation and review of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies. Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation. Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and support crossfunctional initiatives. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis. Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools to enhance decisionmaking. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. CPA or pursuing CPA is a plus. 2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks). Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience in a corporate finance environment or public accounting. Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) is a plus. Familiarity with ERP systems.
