OverviewAccountant - Sharjah, UAEWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliationsPrepare financial statements and reports for management reviewMonitor company expenses and recommend cost-saving strategiesEnsure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returnsConduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve any issuesProvide financial analysis and guidance to assist with business decision-makingCollaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of transactionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar roleProficiency in accounting software and MS Office applicationsStrong knowledge of local tax laws and regulationsExcellent analytical skills with attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressureTeam player with excellent communication skillsThis is a full-time position open to both Indian nationals as well as non-native English speakers.
