As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws and regulations.Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain financial records including ledgers, journals, and invoices- Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial data- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes- Provide support during annual audits and tax filings- Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, government agencies, and vendors- Stay updated on changes in local laws and regulations related to accounting and financeRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the UAE- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, SAP)- Strong understanding of local accounting standards and regulations- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages is a plus)- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills- Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamWe offer a competitive salary package along with visa sponsorship for all nationalities.
