OverviewAccountant in Khawr Fakkan, UAE. We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Khawr Fakkan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial accounts and records, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance. The role requires excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. The Accountant must have a comprehensive understanding of relevant accounting principles and practices, as well as experience employing computerized accounting systems. This position requires the ability to work with accuracy under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. A foreigner is welcome to apply for this position as long as they can demonstrate their qualifications are equivalent or superior to those required by local candidates.ResponsibilitiesMaintaining accurate financial records in accordance with accepted policies and proceduresPerforming daily accounting operations such as accounts receivable/payable, cash management, and payroll processingMonitoring all transactions for accuracyPreparing month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, etc.Assisting with annual audits by providing necessary information and reportsDeveloping internal control policies to ensure data accuracy & integrityEnsuring compliance with applicable government laws & regulationsEstablishing effective communication with clients, vendors & other stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance plus at least two years of experience in a similar roleKnowledge of relevant software; experience using QuickBooks is preferredA CPA license is a definite plus but not requiredSalary: 1800 AED per month#J-18808-Ljbffr
