Accountant

OverviewWe are a reputable company in Sharjah looking for a skilled Accountant who is fluent in Malayalam to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank reconciliations and tax filings. The ideal candidate should have excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account informationMaintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable/payable and controlling expensesEnsure accuracy of financial transactions by auditing documents and verifying all entries are correctPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management reviewHandle tax filings including VAT returns and corporate tax paymentsMonitor cash flow by tracking bank balances and preparing cash flow projectionsAssist with budget preparation and variance analysisQualificationsProven work experience as an Accountant or similar roleFluency in Malayalam is mandatoryBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresPrevious experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP is preferredExcellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)Ability to work independently with minimal supervision#J-18808-Ljbffr
