About the jobLocation: Al-Qouz, DubaiEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout Us:We are a fast-growing, vertically integrated coffee business, with a strong presence in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage our financial records, support daily transactions, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & BookkeepingPrepare and maintain financial records, including the general ledger, balance sheet, and profit & loss statements.Prepare various schedules, workings, and reports for the month-end closing of books.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.Support the Finance Manager in carrying out departmental responsibilities.Cash & Bank TransactionsCollect cash, POS transactions, and cheques from the sales team daily.Prepare pay-in slips and ensure daily deposits into bank accounts.Verify and account for cash, cheques, and bank remittances received from customers in the ERP system.Perform bank reconciliation and cash-in-hand reconciliation on a daily basis.Accounts Receivable & CollectionsGenerate customer statements of accounts from the ERP system and share them with customers.Follow up with the sales team and customers for pending payments daily.Accounts Payable & PayrollProcess accounts payable transactions, ensuring balances match supplier records.Prepare and process monthly payroll, including generating and submitting WPS files.Calculate gratuity, overtime, and final settlements in compliance with UAE labor laws.Tax & ComplianceAssist in filing VAT and excise returns by maintaining proper financial records.Coordinate external audits by preparing documentation and addressing auditor queries.Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and accounting principles.Other ResponsibilitiesPrepare ad hoc reports as required by the Finance Manager.Assist in system improvements and process optimization for better financial efficiency.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, or coffee-related businesses.Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, WPS payroll processing, and UAE labor laws.Experience with ERP accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience.Growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding company.A collaborative work environment in a leading coffee business.If you’re an experienced accountant looking to work in a dynamic and coffee-focused business, we’d love to hear from you!#J-18808-Ljbffr
