Job Description – AccountantLocation: Dubai, UAEJob SummaryThe Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting management with timely financial reports. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliationsHandle accounts payable and receivable functionsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPerform bank reconciliations and cash flow managementManage VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulationsAssist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningMaintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviewsCoordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants when requiredEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsSupport management with financial analysis and MIS reportingEssential QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProfessional certifications such as CA (Inter), CMA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantageMinimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAEStrong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting practicesSkills RequiredProficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar)Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting toolsGood understanding of financial controls and complianceHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasksGood communication and coordination skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
