Accountant

OverviewJob Title: General AccountantLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial reporting expertise, and the ability to support financial decision-making.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update financial records including general ledger entries.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.Ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations, taxation, and company policies.Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.Monitor expenses and ensure accurate cost allocation.Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters.Assist management with financial planning and reporting.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor’s degree or similar in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Good understanding of VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).Preferred SkillsExperience working in construction, trading, or contracting companies is preferred.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsCompetitive salary packageHealth insuranceAnnual leave as per Saudi labor lawCareer development opportunitiesHow to ApplyInterested candidates are encouraged to submit their CV and cover letter to the provided email.#J-18808-Ljbffr
