Accountant – Legal FirmSAR 15-18,000 plus ticket and medical for self, Riyadh KSAOur client is a global law firm that is currently expanding its team based in the KSA. The Riyadh office is a small sized office with most of its support coming from the UAE. As part of their growth they are currently looking for a professional Accountant to be based in the Riyadh office and liaise back with the Finance Manager in the UAE. This is a great opportunity to join a very professional and highly regarded Global law firm. This is considered a Junior to Mid level role. This is not a management role.ResponsibilitiesBank reconciliation and reportBranch cash / liquidity managementManagement and accounting of revenueManagement of Account ReceivablesManagement reporting on time recording, fee income and receivablesIn conjunction with the Revenue Manager, management of collections and debtAdherence to the Firm's standards on client/matter uptakeClient fund accounting and adherence to Law Society ruleObserve and obtain adherence to Firm's policies on authority levels and travelLiaison with local vendors and suppliers, including mobile operators and translatorsHold petty cashProvision of general clerical support to the Finance functionsArabic - Fluent / ExcellentEnglish - Fluent / ExcellentOwn a CarAnyHave Driving LicenseAnyJob SkillsIn order to be considered for this role, we are looking for someone who has a minimum of 5 years experience as an accountant in a legal firm, professional services or the services sector. This role would not be suitable for someone who is from manufacturing or construction. You should have a recognized accounting qualification such as CMA or something equivalent. You must possess excellent communication skills in English and have conversational Arabic. In addition your Excel and Word skills must be excellent. You must be able to demonstrate a maturity and flexibility in your work, able to deal with senior management and able to prioritise in a very demanding work environment.
