Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in trading, marine, or supply chain-related businesses and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and reportsHandle daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliationsManage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flowManage payments, collections, and vendor accountsEnsure timely invoicing and follow-up on receivablesPrepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulationsAssist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closingSupport internal and external auditsMonitor inventory transactions and costingCoordinate with operations for stock reconciliationTrack expenses and identify cost-saving opportunitiesMaintain proper documentation of financial transactionsCoordinate with internal departments and external stakeholdersSupport management with financial analysis and reportingRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)Experience in trading / shipping / marine industry is an advantageStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesFamiliarity with VAT regulations in the UAEProficiency in accounting software and MS ExcelAttention to detail and high level of accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsGood communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
