Accountant

Job Title:AccountantWork Location:Birkat Al Awamir, QatarJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, inventory control, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing and inventory accounting, along with the ability to handle customer accounts and ensure financial compliance.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain accurateinventory recordsand cost tracking.Handlecustomer accounts , including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.Performmanufacturing accounting , including cost allocation and production-related expenses.Maintaingeneral accountingactivities such as journal entries, ledger management, and month-end closing.Conductaccount reconciliationand reconsolidation of financial data.Prepare accuratefinancial reportsin compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Monitor and manageAccounts Receivable (AR)andAccounts Payable (AP).Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.Coordinate with internal departments to maintain accurate financial records.Required Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge ofInventory & Cost Accounting.Experience inFinancial Reporting and Compliance.Proficiency inAccounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Management.Hands‑on experience withERP systems(such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).Excellentanalytical and problem‑solving skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum2–5 years of accounting experience(preferably in manufacturing or trading companies).Experience working in Qatar or GCC is preferred.
