Accountant

Job Title:AccountantWork Location:Birkat Al Awamir, QatarJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, inventory control, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing and inventory accounting, along with the ability to handle customer accounts and ensure financial compliance.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain accurate inventory records and cost tracking.Handle customer accounts, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.Perform manufacturing accounting, including cost allocation and production-related expenses.Maintain general accounting activities such as journal entries, ledger management, and month-end closing.Conduct account reconciliation and reconsolidation of financial data.Prepare accurate financial reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.Coordinate with internal departments to maintain accurate financial records.Required Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of Inventory & Cost Accounting.Experience in Financial Reporting and Compliance.Proficiency in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Management.Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing or trading companies).Experience working in Qatar or GCC is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
