Account Manager

OverviewAs an Account Manager, you will manage and grow Elsevier’s Research Intelligence portfolio across the Middle East and Central Asia, owning renewals and upsell opportunities. You will partner closely with Senior Account Managers and cross‑functional teams to drive revenue growth, ensure smooth contract execution, and maintain strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a passion for SaaS solutions and customer engagement.ResponsibilitiesManage the Research Intelligence (RI) portfolio across the Middle East and Central AsiaOwn and drive renewals and upsell opportunities, including multi‑year contractsPartner closely with the Senior Account Manager to grow revenue and expand accountsCoordinate with Sales, Finance, Legal, CSMs, Product, and Operations to ensure smooth renewal executionReview and negotiate contract terms; maintain accurate data across CRM, Clari, and SalesCloudBuild strong customer relationships and promote the wider Elsevier RI portfolioSupport regional marketing activities and consortium initiativesAchieve quarterly and annual renewal and new business targetsRequirements3+ years’ experience in a commercial, sales, or renewal‑focused roleDegree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related fieldExperience in the publishing preferredStrong understanding of SaaS solutions, contracts, and end‑to‑end sales operationsProven self‑starter with experience managing complex renewalsExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skillsFluent in English; Arabic (native or fluent) is a strong plusWork for youWe promote a healthy work-life balance, well-being initiatives, parental leave, and study leave.
