<div><p>We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Accommodation Services Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. This role provides a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained living environment for residents, delivering high-quality hospitality and support services. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, organized, and works collaboratively with colleagues to ensure residents’ needs are met with dignity and professionalism.</p><h3>Core Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Resident Care&Customer Service:<ul><li>Greet and orient residents and visitors in a friendly, respectful manner; respond to inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.</li><li>Provide basic support to residents as required, including assistance with daily living tasks, guidance on facilities, and referral to appropriate services while maintaining resident privacy and dignity.</li><li>Build positive relationships with residents to promote a supportive, inclusive community atmosphere.</li></ul></li><li>Housekeeping&Maintenance:<ul><li>Perform routine cleaning duties in common areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.</li><li>Carry out basic maintenance tasks, report repair needs, and coordinate with maintenance or external contractors to ensure timely resolution.</li><li>Follow cleaning schedules, infection control protocols, and safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.</li></ul></li><li>Food Service&Facilities Support:<ul><li>Assist with meal service operations, including food preparation support, serving, clearing, and maintaining dining areas in accordance with health and safety standards.</li><li>Assist with inventory checks for supplies, stock rotation, and restocking of communal areas and service carts.</li><li>Support setup and cleanup for events or activities hosted in accommodation facilities.</li></ul></li><li>Operations, Safety&Compliance:<ul><li>Follow company policies, procedures, and emergency protocols to maintain resident and staff safety at all times.</li><li>Complete accurate logs and incident reports, communicate concerns to supervisors, and participate in handovers to ensure continuity of care and services.</li><li>Adhere to confidentiality requirements and professional standards when handling resident information.</li></ul></li><li>Collaboration&Professionalism:<ul><li>Work closely with accommodation managers, care teams, and external providers to coordinate services and resolve resident concerns.</li><li>Contribute to a positive team environment through clear communication, flexibility, and a willingness to support colleagues during peak periods.</li><li>Represent the organization with integrity, maintaining professional appearance and conduct in line with company standards.</li></ul></li></ul><h3>Ideal Candidate Profile</h3><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in accommodation, hospitality, residential care, or a customer-facing support role is preferred (1+ years desirable).</li><li>Familiarity with basic cleaning and food service practices, health and safety requirements, and record-keeping is advantageous.</li><li>Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of resident-focused service delivery is a plus.</li></ul><h3>Core Competencies</h3><ul><li>Resident Focus: Strong commitment to providing respectful, person-centered service that promotes comfort and wellbeing.</li><li>Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.</li><li>Teamwork: Collaborative approach and willingness to assist colleagues to achieve shared service objectives.</li><li>Organization&Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively across routine and ad hoc duties.</li><li>Safety Awareness: Attentive to health, safety, and infection control practices and comfortable following established protocols.</li></ul><h3>Personal Attributes</h3><ul><li>Empathetic, patient, and respectful when interacting with residents from diverse backgrounds.</li><li>Detail-oriented with a practical approach to problem solving and a focus on delivering consistent service quality.</li><li>Honest, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required to meet operational needs.</li></ul><p>Join our team to help create safe, comfortable, and welcoming accommodation experiences that support residents’ wellbeing and reflect our commitment to service excellence.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
