About the job Academic Dean - Faculty of MedicineJOB INFORMATIONJob Title: Academic DeanSHORT DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking astrategic and experienced Academic Dean to lead our academic programs and initiatives at IMCMedical College in Jeddah - Saudi Arabia.JOB SUMMARYIn this pivotal role, you will be responsible for fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment, driving academic excellence, and ensuring that our educational offerings align with industry standards and student needs.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement academic strategies that promote student success and institutional effectivenessOversee curriculum development, assessment processes, and faculty performance to ensure academic integrity and qualityLead accreditation efforts and ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulationsFoster collaboration among academic departments to enhance interdisciplinary programs and initiativesEngage with faculty, staff, and students to cultivate a vibrant academic community and address emerging educational needsManage budgets and resources effectively to align with institutional goals and prioritiesRepresent the academic division in institutional planning and decision-making processesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSDoctoral degree (PhD holder) in a health-related discipline.Must hold an academic rank of at least Associate Professor.Professional ExperienceEight (8) years of academic experience in related field.Four (4) years in an administrative leadership position.Four (4) years experience in teaching, research, and service in health sciences.LanguageProficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.#J-18808-Ljbffr
