Job Description

Job DescriptionActs as a liaison between the College of Engineering and other Colleges and Departments and provides students with accurate and timely information in response to their queries during their study. Perform the duties listed below as assigned.ResponsibilitiesAssists students with admission and registration-related problems.Review expected to graduate students' plans from Degree Works program to ensure that all students follow program plan.Receive and review requests submitted by students and provide required approvals based on university regulations; specialization application, specialization change, temporary withdrawal requests, summer study requests, course withdrawal requests, term withdrawal requests, incomplete grade requests, and other requests.Review the registration when a student did not pass a prerequisite.Extract student data from Banner and Crystal program and provide reports to the College.Handle and resolve student queries and problems with accurate and timely information and provide them with the correct information.Administer student transfer process; announcing transfer conditions, preparing for exam and interview, reviewing transfer requests, and assessing transcripts for equivalency and transfer requests from other institutes.Review student absent excuse requests through Banner and prepare the 15% absent list.Class schedule preparation in coordination with College Departments, other colleges, and Khadamat; extract list of expected-to-graduate students, review course verification sheets, open new sections, adjust ceilings, time changes, and update instructor names in Banner; prepare common final exams with the registration department and announce the class schedule to students while coordinating with departments to resolve conflicts.Review probation lists and provide extensive advising.Provide support and answer inquiries of faculty members and staff from the college, other colleges, Khadamat, and other entities.Review transcripts of students with irregular registration.Exams management by resolving midterm conflicts and preparing the final exams schedule of the college and resolving student overload requests.Follow up on final grade entry.Review graduates list by the end of each semester.Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.Minimum QualificationInterpersonal skills; basic computer proficiency particularly MS Word and MS Excel; knowledge of one foreign language preferably English; bachelor’s degree.Preferred QualificationBachelor’s degree in a related field; strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Special Instructions to ApplicantSubmit a detailed CVClose Date: Kindly apply before the closing date. 30/04/2026#J-18808-Ljbffr
