2ND W/K ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

2nd W/K Electrical Engineer for Cutter Suction Dredger.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Chief Electrical Engineer in maintaining all electrical systems on the Cutter Suction Dredger including power generation, distribution, and control systems.Perform watchkeeping duties and monitor electrical equipment to ensure safe and uninterrupted dredging operations.Troubleshoot and repair faults in motors, drives, PLC systems, control panels, and instrumentation.Maintain dredging-related electrical equipment such as cutter drives, dredge pumps, winches, and spud systems.Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of generators, switchboards, and electrical protection systems.Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, marine regulations, and permit-to-work systems.Assist with installation, modification, and commissioning of electrical equipment during mobilization or upgrades.Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and spare parts inventory.Coordinate with mechanical and dredging teams to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.Participate in emergency response and ensure proper functioning of alarms, safety systems, and emergency power supply.QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering.STCW Certification.5 years' experience with relevant equipment.About UsDEVELOP YOUR CAREER WITH INDUSTRY LEADERSNMDC Group is always looking for talented individuals to join our team.
