About the job 11.11.5 - PROJECT SAFETY OFFICERQualification:Higher National Degree (HND), or University Degree (preferably in an engineering discipline) or an accredited HSE professional certificate. Associate membership of a recognized safety institution is desirable.Must hold and maintain a valid HSE Management System Lead Auditor certification.Experience:Minimum 10 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety, preferably in the oil, gas & petrochemical industry, and specifically construction projects (including greenfield and brownfield work).Thorough knowledge of safe work practices, international standards (e.g., ISO 45001:2018), and procedures.Conversant with international standards in Environmental Management System.Trained in any of the following Incident Investigation Software: TapRoot, SafetyCulture, EasyRCA, Tripod Beta, etc.Competent in the use of PC including MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and other relevant software.Experience in the GCC is desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
