The successful applicant will be responsible for welding metal components together to fabricate or repair products. Salary: 1700. Open to immigrants.ResponsibilitiesInspect the material or product to be welded and ensure it is suitable for the job.Set up tools and equipment needed for the job.Select the correct filler materials for each job.Position and clamp pieces together.Read blueprints and specifications.Carry out welding operations with precision.Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions according to specifications.Guarantee that welds meet standard quality requirements.Maintain safety standards at all times.QualificationsGood eye for detail and ability to work with specifications and blueprints.Understanding of different welding techniques and processes, including MIG/MAG, TIG, and arc welding.Previous welding experience is not required but would be an asset.Excellent problem-solving skills and strong hand-eye coordination.Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.Good manual dexterity and basic math skills for job-related calculations.Additional informationThis job description focuses on the Welder role and responsibilities.
