We ask employees to be present in the office at least three days per week.Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone?Job Title: Water Treatment SupervisorPrimary RoleEnsure every person on location operates in the safest manner and goes home in the same condition as they arrived.Clearly communicate the safety plan, which includes hazards awareness, muster points, restricted areas, different group points of contact, etc.Ensure JSA’s filled out for each task for each group working on location.Ensure all personnel know that they are expected to use STOP WORK AUTHORITY for any potentially unsafe conditions or activities regardless of position or status.Use good housekeeping measures to keep location clean, walkways clear of trip hazards, avoiding line-of-fire, have egress plan for unplanned event/release, proper chemical storage, transfer, and filling, etc.Adhere to ADNOC and Client’s safety regulations upholding the safety culture and setting the standard for all third‑party partners.Secondary RoleOperate at maximum efficiency while adhering to the highest levels of integrity, ethics, and safety compliance.Ensure people doing tasks are properly trained and comfortable with the tasks.Zero tolerance for any person ordering someone to do a task that is unsafe or using the wrong tools for the job resulting in an unsafe activity (no intimidation or bullying).As the “treating supervisor” this will be a primarily outdoor role to directly oversee personnel, operation and equipment. This will require constant physical demands throughout the workday (12 h) to include but not limited to walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, use of hands and/or tools, etc. With exposure to but not limited to extreme heat or cold, wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high‑pressure areas.No shortcuts. If conditions change, stop the job, review the task, perform a new JSA, then execute.Audit operations ensuring equipment is being used in an efficient and safe manner.Use proper procedures and engineering controls to mitigate environmental releases and spills. All spills should be reported to the on‑site supervisor immediately.DESIGNShould have clear understanding of all equipment, piping, valves, transfer pumps, ESD(s), PRV(s), chemical injection systems, recirculation system, etc.What are the design parameters? E.g., maximum operating pressure, maximum operating temperature, flow rate design, material selection, is it internally coated, etc.?OPERATIONCapable of coordinating with different groups for startup, operation (on‑the‑fly changes), shut‑down.Should have a thorough understanding of system fluid and gas composition (H2S), flow, pressures, valve alignment, upset contingencies etc.Should have a thorough understanding of the job scope and ensure proper lines of communication with all groups/companies on location.Maintain and update primary points of contact list for any companies on location, consumables (e.g., stain tubes, PPE, diesel).CHEMICAL APPLICATIONSShould have a grounded knowledge of the purpose of the chemical, how it is used, and why it is used for any chemicals on location.Should understand PPE requirements working around any chemicals on location.Familiar with incompatibility between other chemicals/materials on location.Knows proper storage and handling, as well as procedures for transferring chemicals between containers (e.g., transfer into day tank, swapping out totes, etc.).Program treating definitions.
