Job Description

A Wastewater Treatment Service Sales Engineer sells equipment, services, and solutions related to wastewater treatment plants—such as maintenance contracts, upgrades, chemicals, filtration systems, and automation solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical SalesUnderstand client requirements (industrial plants, municipalities, hotels, etc.)Recommend suitable treatment solutions (e.g., biological treatment, filtration, RO systems)Prepare technical proposals and cost estimatesClient Relationship ManagementMeet clients, consultants, and contractorsMaintain long-term relationshipsHandle negotiations and close dealsSite & System EvaluationVisit wastewater treatment plantsAnalyze system performance and issuesSuggest upgrades or service contractsCoordinationWork with internal engineering teams for design and executionCoordinate with service/maintenance teams after salesMarket DevelopmentIdentify new business opportunitiesTrack competitors and industry trendsRequired SkillsTechnical SkillsKnowledge of:Wastewater treatment processes (e.g., MBR, MBBR, SBR, RO)Pumps, blowers, dosing systemsWater chemistry basicsSales SkillsNegotiation and persuasionProposal writingCustomer handlingSoft SkillsCommunicationProblem-solvingTime managementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in:Environmental EngineeringChemical EngineeringMechanical EngineeringExperience:2–5 years (entry to mid-level roles)#J-18808-Ljbffr
