Vice President - Instrumentation & Control Systems

We are seeking a senior business leader to head our Instrumentation, Automation & Control Systems division. This role carries full end-to-end responsibility for the business unit, including P&L ownership, commercial strategy, engineering capability, project execution, and customer satisfaction.The Vice President will play a critical role in driving growth, operational excellence, and transforming the business into a high-performing provider of integrated instrumentation, automation, and control system solutions across industrial and infrastructure sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & P&L LeadershipOwn full P&L responsibility, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiencyDevelop and execute annual business plans, budgets, and financial targetsTrack financial KPIs and implement corrective actions as neededProvide regular performance and risk updates to executive leadershipLead tendering, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiationsEnsure competitive, compliant, and profitable commercial offeringsIdentify and develop opportunities in instrumentation, automation, control systems, and smart industrial applicationsBuild and strengthen relationships with utilities, industrial clients, EPC contractors, and consultantsProject Delivery ExcellenceOversee all projects from award through final handoverEnsure delivery meets schedule, cost, quality, and safety targetsEstablish and maintain a robust PMO framework for planning, risk management, and reportingImprove resource utilization and reduce rework and field issuesBuild strong engineering capabilities across instrumentation, PLC/DCS, SCADA/RTU, and systems integrationDefine engineering standards, design guidelines, and quality control processesStrengthen turnkey and integrated solution delivery capabilitiesAct as the senior escalation point for key customers and partnersDrive customer satisfaction and conduct regular business reviewsEnsure timely resolution of commercial or execution issuesOrganization & Talent DevelopmentDesign and optimize the organizational structureLead, mentor, and develop senior managers across commercial, engineering, and operationsIdentify talent gaps and support recruitment, training, and capability developmentFoster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementCandidate Profile15+ years of experience in industrial instrumentation, automation, and control systemsProven P&L leadership experience in a project-based or engineering organizationStrong commercial, contractual, and negotiation skillsDeep technical knowledge of instrumentation, PLC/DCS, SCADA, and systems integrationDemonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary technical teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities#J-18808-Ljbffr
