Head of Quality Assurance - Vocational Education and TrainingLocation: United Arab EmiratesType: Full TimeAbout the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced and visionary professional to lead the development of a new quality assurance system and framework for all vocational education and training providers. The role will play a critical part in ensuring vocational education aligns with international best practices, workforce needs, and emerging trends in skills development, micro-credentials, and competency-based learning.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign a TVET quality assurance system and framework to fit the UAE context.Provide expert guidance on TVET policy development related to skills, micro-credentials, and competency-based learning.Ensure vocational education quality aligns with workforce and employability requirements.Benchmark quality standards against global frameworks to foster innovation and relevance.Lead sector-wide capacity building through training, mentoring, and technical workshops.Engage with national and international stakeholders and quality assurance networks.Conduct and lead institutional and programme-level reviews, maintaining consistent QA standards.Person SpecificationMaster’s degree in education, vocational education, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years’ experience in vocational education, training, or quality assurance.Strong expertise in quality assurance, TVET, accreditation, and competency-based education.Proven experience in TVET policy development, international benchmarking, and report writing.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.PackageAttractive salary aligned with UAE industry standardsComprehensive benefits, including health insurance and end-of-service benefitsSponsorship (If needed)Deadline for applicationsongoing.
