Trade Finance Officer

Coordinate with the supply chain department on LCs and payment terms with suppliersCommunicate with banks to negotiate quotes for Letter of Credit transactions and explore trade finance opportunitiesReview and negotiate all types of charges raised by current and upcoming banksPrepare files to be submitted to banks for new facilitiesHandle the renewal process for current facilities with banksControl trading operations such as establishing LCs, negotiating terms, discounting LCs, issuing bank guarantees, and submitting control returnsControl all inward/outward remittances including import bills, export bills, remittances, and SWIFT operationsSubmit and manage the payments process, ensuring all payments are checked, signed and submitted to banks before deadlinesPerform daily corporate cash management and forecasting activitiesEnsure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reportedSubmit timely and accurate financial information to the Head of TreasuryCoordinate with the accounting department to ensure accuracy of financial reportingJob RequirementsMinimum BSc in Finance or other related discipline from a recognized institutionMinimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in trade finance operationsExcellent knowledge and experience of trade finance, especially Letters of CreditKnowledge of banking applicationsHighly analytical and skilled in currency risk and managerial cash flowSound experience in negotiationsProficient in MS ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of integrity and business acumenSelf-driven and results-orientedAbility to solve problems and manage complexitiesFlexible, creative and innovativeReady to take your career to new heights?
