Technician – DRP 2 Mechanical Shift

Job Title: Technician – DRP 2 Mechanical ShiftLocation: UAEDepartment: Direct Reduction Plant (DRP)Job Purpose:To perform mechanical maintenance activities in the Direct Reduction Plant (DRP 2) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations during assigned shifts.Key Responsibilities:Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.Troubleshoot and repair rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and hydraulic systems.Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities to the supervisor.Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safe work practices at all times.Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and shift reports.Support shutdown activities and major maintenance works as required.Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to minimize downtime.Requirements:Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within DRP, steel, or heavy industrial plants.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.Willingness to work in shift schedules.#J-18808-Ljbffr
