Team Lead - Radar Software Engineering

PULSE, the joint venture between EDGE and INDRA, is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to drive the development of mission-critical defense applications. This role combines strong technical expertise in embedded systems with leadership, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring delivery of high-quality, compliant software solutions.The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping technology direction, fostering innovation, and aligning engineering efforts with complex defense program objectives.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of software engineers in the design and development of mission-critical defense applicationsDefine team objectives, assign responsibilities, and track progress against milestonesManage integration of software with Radar, RF, Hardware and Test SystemsOversee the full software development life cycle, ensuring compliance with defense quality standards (NATO AQAP, MIL-STD)Collaborate with program managers and cross-functional leaders to align with program objectivesDrive adoption of software best practices, agile methodologies, and continuous improvementContribute to technology roadmaps and innovation in embedded systemsEnsure robust documentation and support for certification processesRequirementsMinimum 10+ years in software engineering, 3+ in leadership rolesStrong embedded programming expertise (C/C++), Linux-based systemsStrategic leadership in software engineering projectsFamiliarity with real-time programming and communication protocols (TCP/IP, MODBUS, SNMP)Experience Managing multidisciplinary engineering teamsKnowledge of military grade documentation and certification processes#J-18808-Ljbffr
