Tax Director

<div><p>We are seeking a<b>Tax Director</b>with strong experience in leading international tax strategy and compliance within complex, multinational organizations. The ideal candidate has managed tax operations across multiple jurisdictions, overseen transfer pricing, and partnered with local advisers, including company setup abroad. Experience in process improvement, ensuring compliance, financial planning, and providing tax guidance to business functions is essential. This is a high-impact, strategic, and fully remote position.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage the Group's tax position, including development and implementation of tax strategy across multiple countries</li><li>Build close working relationships with local professional advisers, identifying projects and tasks requiring professional advice, and managing delivery and timing of advice (including company openings in new jurisdictions)</li><li>Ensure regular and accurate completion of tax filings</li><li>Manage the Group's transfer pricing</li><li>Assist in financial planning, including preparation and management of tax forecasts and provisions</li><li>Serve as a business partner for other functions on tax-related queries</li><li>Take responsibility for continuous process improvement in all taxation matters</li><li>Propose process and system improvements to ensure full compliance and manage the effective tax rate within regional companies</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>At least 5 years of team management experience and significant tax compliance and advisory expertise for multinational companies, preferably within the IT, digital, or e-commerce sectors</li><li>CPA certification is a strong plus</li><li>Deep knowledge of international tax laws and accounting standards, with a strong focus on the US market</li><li>Expertise in tax compliance processes and projects, from data extraction to return submission</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions and recommendations</li><li>Deep knowledge of transfer pricing rules</li><li>Tax audit experience from a taxpayer perspective</li><li>Experience managing outside counsel and other tax advisors</li><li>Experience working with auditors</li><li>Fluent English (both written and spoken)</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Flexible schedules and opportunity to work remotely;</li><li>Ambitious and supportive team who love what they do, appreciate each other, and grow together;</li><li>Internal programs for adaptation and training, development of soft skills, and leadership abilities;</li><li>Partial compensation for participating in external training and conferences;</li><li>Corporate English school: Group and individual lessons, speaking clubs with colleagues from all over the world;</li><li>Corporate prices on hotels and travel services;</li><li>MyTime Day Off - an extra non-working day without loss of compensation</li></ul><h3>Learn more about our data protection practices in our Privacy Policy:</h3><p>https://emergingtravel.notion.site/recruitment-privacy-notice</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
