Chalhoub Group is proud to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact, a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles, and to have pledged to reach Net Zero by 2040.What You’ll Be DoingOur Tailor is responsible for various alteration tasks as per the customers’ needs and requests, and as reported by the sales staff, within the agreed upon deadline.Fit and study garments on customers to determine required alterationsMeasure parts such as sleeves or pant legs, and mark or pin-fold alteration linesTake up or let down hems to shorten or lengthen garment parts such as sleevesLet out or take in seams in suits and other garments to improve fitRecord required alterations and instructions on tags, and attach them to garmentsExamine tags on garments to determine alterations that are neededFit, alter, repair, and make made-to-measure clothing, according to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit, and applying principles of garment design, construction, and stylingInform sales executives if the alteration would be possibleCoordinate with them for details of the alterationInform the customers about when it will be fixedPurchase the needed materials for various tasksWhat You’ll Need To SucceedExperience in Tailoring with Luxury brands and clothingStrong communication skillsFlexibility and agilityWhat We Can Offer YouWith us, you will turn your aspirations into reality.
