About the jobA field-based Deployment Technician role to support our team, supporting the renovation of an existing radio communication system. The role involves hands-on work with electronic equipment, networked systems, and application software across 20 sites nationwide, under daily supervision of a Deployment Engineer.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESInstall and configure hardware components including servers, workstations, and networking equipmentDeploy operating systems, drivers, and application softwareConduct system verification tasks post-deployment and troubleshoot deployment issuesMonitor system health in live operations and resolve software faultsPerform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasksApply patches and software upgrades as requiredMaintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and maintenance activitiesUpdate installation and maintenance documentation as neededProvide on-site technical support to the customerSubmit daily reports on installation progressKEY QUALIFICATIONSValid UAE driver's license (travel across 20 sites is mandatory)Hands-on experience with hardware installation and configuration (servers, workstations, networking equipment)Proficiency in deploying operating systems and application softwareStrong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issuesExperience in system monitoring and preventive maintenanceGood documentation and reporting disciplineAbility to obtain UAE security clearance to work on military basesComfortable working in a field-based, high-travel environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
