Subcontracts Engineer

EngineeringDuties & ResponsibilitiesReviews subcontract documents identifies potential risks and becomes fully aware of all contractual requirements deliverables insurance policies/certificates sureties (warranties Performance bond LDs notices and key milestone activities) notices and notice periods milestone activities etc. and may participate during the preparation of the tender documents.Able to review and analyses BOQs and quantity surveyors report by subcontractors.Ensures that the Subcontract Plan and Subcontract Payment Procedure comply with the subcontract Terms and Conditions.Identifies and evaluates claims and disputes with the project management team.Ensures that the subcontract progress is in compliance with the invoice as per the subcontract Terms & conditions.Provides guidance on subcontract interpretation analyses project contractual performance/implementation and identifies contractual concerns providing recommended corrective actions to the Subcontract Managers and Contract Manager.Administers subcontracts and manages meetings and discussions with subcontractors together with the project management team.Participates in the formal closeout of contracts with subcontractors including release of Completion Certificates release of Retention Monies release of Bank Guarantees administration of Warranty claims and ensure that Companys rights are respected.Prepares lessons learned regarding the contractual issues in order to prevent repetition for other subcontracts.Be aware of and implements relevant aspects of Quality Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.#J-18808-Ljbffr
