SSAS Developer

Master-Works is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Developer to join our growing analytics team. As an SSAS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing analytical solutions that drive actionable insights and inform strategic business decisions. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, build multidimensional and tabular models, and ensure that solutions are optimized for performance.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance SSAS OLAP cubes and tabular models to support business intelligence and reporting requirementsCreate and maintain MDX and DAX queries for data retrieval and analysisWork closely with data warehousing teams to integrate and ensure data quality in OLAP cubesConduct performance tuning and optimization of existing SSAS solutions to improve query performance and reduce load timesDocument technical specifications and best practices for SSAS developmentParticipate in deployment activities and provide support during the implementation phaseRequired Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldProven experience (2+ years) in SSAS development with hands‑on experience in creating and managing OLAP cubes and tabular modelsProficient in writing and optimizing MDX and DAX queriesStrong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and data warehousing conceptsAbility to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environmentStrong problem‑solving and analytical skillsPreferred Skills and QualificationsFamiliarity with Power BI or other visualization toolsExperience with ETL processes and toolsMicrosoft Certifications in Data and Analytics are a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
